The challenge

More and more employees leave organizations because they see no room to grow as leaders or advance their careers. GeoBlue wanted to keep its high-potential employees engaged and prepare them for bigger roles before they looked elsewhere.

The goal

GeoBlue wanted a structured development program that would prepare high-potential employees for their next step, including leadership roles. The program also had to work for a mid-sized company with limited internal resources.

The solution

With full backing from GeoBlue’s CEO and leadership team, Careerminds designed a virtual leadership and career development program for high-potential employees.

Each participant began with a leadership assessment that identified gaps in key behavioral competencies. Participants were then paired with a dedicated coach and met monthly for six months to build the skills they needed to reach their next level.

The program was fully virtual. Participants used Careerminds’ career management system and scheduled coaching sessions when it suited them, so development fit around their workload rather than competing with it.
