Careerminds Outplacement Firm – A Top 100 Fastest Growing Company Again

For the second consecutive year, Philadelphia-based Careerminds, the online-oriented outplacement company, is featured on the Philly 100 Fastest Growing Companies list.   Rankings are based on revenue growth rates covering 2012 through 2014.

“We’re thrilled to be included again,” says Careerminds Founder and CEO Raymond Lee.  “Locally and nationally, industry continues to respond to our innovative approach to technology and support that is leading employees to land new positions in a fraction of the time of traditional outplacement services.”

Over the last two years when national unemployment rates have fallen and largely stabilized, Careerminds has experienced growth rates of 86% percent.  “Even in a strong economy, companies are merging and consolidating, acquisitions are happening and the nature of certain industries is changing,” Lee says, “so that outplacement services are still in demand.”

Just this month, US Air merged with American Airlines, hospitals are consolidating and local universities have announced layoffs in response to diminishing enrollment figures.

But even more influential in Careerminds’ growth, Lee says, “is the market’s recognition that employees’ work styles are changing, more work is done online, virtually and from remote locations.  And that’s our approach as well, to support transitioning employees in their search, where ever they may be,” Lee says.

“Outplacement can’t be static.  Today’s workers are no longer ‘one-size-fits-all’ so we’re not surprised that we’re succeeding by providing a completely configurable system that is customized for every person who participates,” Lee adds.  “Our clients care about their transitioning employees and they deserve solutions that are easy to purchase, implement and track.”

Over the last year, clients working with Careerminds outplacement consistently see their former employees’ job searches lasting an average of three months while the US Department of Labor Statistics reports an average of nine to ten months to land a new position.
