Careerminds Cares: A No Cost Career Transition Platform
March 30, 2020
The outbreak of the novel Coronavirus has transformed impacted businesses across the globe, forcing employers to fundamentally change the way they work while also prompting them to make tough business decisions during an already stressful time.
To help these individuals displaced by the virus, Careerminds is proud to announce the launch of Careerminds Cares, an initiative that harnesses the power of our Career Management System (CMS) at no cost.
Careerminds’ CMS is a community-driven platform of expert career coaches and other job seekers that is specifically designed to help navigate career transitions.
Careerminds Cares will be open directly to individuals. The community-driven platform is also completely virtual, ensuring that all those that sign up can still follow the recommended safety guidelines set forth by the CDC and local governments while also receiving job search support during these unprecedented times.
“Our mission as a company is to reduce the stress people face in transition,” said Careerminds CEO Raymond Lee.
“Our goal through this effort is to be supportive to those who are experiencing change and transition and we’re here to play our part during these difficult times.”
Through the program, participants will be able to:
- Assess their career path
- Build their personal brand
- Create a compelling resume
- Develop a career marketing plan
- Target specific industries
- Dig into company data
- Participate in live training webinars
- Establish a networking strategy
- Optimize their LinkedIn profiles
- Work with recruiters
- Learn effective interviewing
- Negotiate your next offer
- And much more
The program also features multiple weekly webinars by our expert coaching staff that will cover topics such as mindset, networking, resume writing, and the job search with a heightened focus on what participants should expect in today’s uncertain climate.
Careerminds Cares will run for a limited time only to help those impacted by Covid-19.
