It’s been awhile since we’ve shared a great HR lecture video. That ends today. We recently came upon this TEDx Talk from Marc Kahn, a psychologist, coach, and organizational consultant who is the Global Head of Organizational Development at Investec Plc.

In the short talk, Kahn explains how ordinary people can create extraordinary performance in the workplace. He starts by talking about a call he had to make to an IT support call center on a Sunday, comparing this extraordinary experience with another call he had to make that didn’t go as well.

What made this person so great at their job? Why did they go above and beyond while the other person didn’t seem to really care? Is it all about talent or is it something else? In other words, what makes people brilliant at their roles?

Find out by watching Kahn’s talk here:
