Pressure on leaders continues to grow and resources continue to diminish. Executives who are successful dedicate themselves to learning the principles and skills that increase their chances of being effective in a variety of situations.

One area that has consistently shown a strong return on investment is Emotional Intelligence (EI). The ability to manage yourself so you can influence others is critical and makes large differences in business results.

Emotional Intelligence is the foundation for anyone who wants to influence people effectively on a consistent basis. Mastering EI skills is the perfect compliment to a strong business mind. Executives with high levels of EI think more strategically, especially in times of change and adversity.
In this interactive virtual conversation the presenter will offer an overview of the business case for Executive Emotional Intelligence (EEI) and provide simple strategies to get results.

The session will include the following learning outcomes:

•A practical and business oriented approach to EEI
•An understanding of what EEI is and how it relates to HR
•The business case for EEI and the relationship between EI and successful influence
•Awareness related to your emotional “triggers”
•The connection between EEI and engagement
•Simple Strategies on how to manage your emotions so you can lead others through times of organizational change and restructurings
•How HR can build EEI in their functional departments and businesses
