Marketing Intern

Careerminds is a provider of affordable career transition solutions. We provide retirement lifestyle planning, leadership development coaching, outplacement, and dual-career couples assistance for higher education institutions and Fortune 500 organizations and beyond.

We save organizations up to 70% over traditional brick-and-mortar HR programs, plus, participants who go through our innovative programs typically get results 3x faster than the national average.

Our philosophy is a shift away from traditional delivery methods, which were primarily reliant on the career consultants, to an integrated approach using consulting and technology as the fundamental enablers.

Careerminds is a B2B organization, and interns will gain experience using marketing strategies surrounding this model. In particular, this internship will focus on inbound marketing, which involves creating blogs and graphic design content to convert viewers into clients.

In this role, you will regularly create blogs focusing on our market areas (outplacement, layoffs, baby boomer retirements, leadership development, dual career couples, HR technology, employee benefits, higher education). You will learn the fundamentals of SEO, how to use blogs to grow an audience on social media, and how to create business partnerships internally and externally through co-marketing opportunities.

In this role you will also regularly collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to assist in the design of graphics. This will include brochures, e-books, social media images, infographics, and event displays. You will learn about how to use design to create sales conversions, motivate buyers, and also how to A/B test different imagery.

You will work regularly with the Marketing Director and Content Manager on marketing initiatives, and receive mentorship from various members of our marketing & sales teams.

Details: This role is 100% remote and will provide around ~ 15 hours of work each week. The intern should have some design (social media images, infographics, brochures, etc) and writing (blogs, case studies, emails, etc) experience. Please submit your resume and an example of both design and writing experience.

Please email Alexandra Brown at to submit an application.
